These days we have IoT, Internet of things devices like refrigerators and smart light bulbs all communicating wirelessly. That's in addition to our traditional wireless devices like laptops and smartphones. So it's clear that it's essential for any IT professional to be knowledgeable with wireless networking. And in this course you're going to be learning the theory and the configuration of wireless networking. Specifically, we'll take a look at different wireless network designs. We'll see how data gets encoded in radio waves. And we'll set up a couple of wireless networks. One for a smaller environment where we have a single wireless router.
