- The good news is there are myriad places where important conversations are taking place. Now the bad news is that there are myriad places where important conversations are taking place. Identifying and monitoring the right ones can be daunting and even potentially paralyzing. Options include everything from elite newspapers to YouTube videos, to social media, to live events, to smartphone apps. The challenge becomes prioritization and timing, which ones to select and focus on and then how often to monitor them. Believe me I still struggle with this myself. You're looking to find discussions around innovative and evolving technologies and their attendant business models, all of which have implications for data science.
