- [Narrator] This course is designed to help you create a program within your own organization that will find and mitigate cyber security related vulnerabilities associated with your people, processes, and technologies. The beating heart of this program is a process of continuous vulnerability discovery and mitigation. Along the way, I won't try to make you an expert in any particular technology, but I will mention several different technology products as we go. In particular, I'll talk quite a bit about the network vulnerability scanner, OpenVAS. I also want to say upfront that it's unlikely you'll be successful by doing everything yourself. So, plan now to get help from your executive sponsor, business systems owners, information security team, and the systems administrator's in your organization.
