- [Instructor] To get the most out of this course, you should have a need to organize some data, but that's about it. This course is aimed at people that are brand new to relational databases, so no prior knowledge is expected. I've written the material to be platform agnostic, so it doesn't matter if you plan on creating a database with SQL Server or MySQL or PostgreS or Microsoft Access, or if you don't even know what any of those are, that's fine, too. All you need to do is bring a little curiosity about how relational databases work and be ready to apply what you learn to your own data needs.
