- [Narrator] If you need to provide members of the public access to a computer, such as to browse your website, or to use another application, you might consider using Windows 10's kiosk mode. Kiosk mode lets you set up a limited access user account which runs only one designated application, and keeps public users away from the other files and programs on a computer. Let's take a look at setting up a Windows 10 system to use kiosk mode for a web browser. To start, I'll go into Windows settings with Start + I. And then I'll choose the Accounts option. Here on the left under family and other users, I can choose assigned access and set up a kiosk. Then I'll click get started. I can choose to use an existing account, which would let us have a password on the account, or I can create a new user which will have no password.
