- Okay, when I want to follow the breadcrumb trail of what has happened in my AWS account, I use Cloud Trail. I wonder what I use when I want to watch the things that are going on within AWS, maybe in a live manner or a historical report of it. Well, if you're guessing maybe CloudWatch, you'd be right. There's a service in AWS called CloudWatch and CloudWatch allows me to monitor the things going on in the cloud, including database related things. Let's take a look at CloudWatch specifically as it relates to databases. So in the AWS management console, we're just going to go into CloudWatch. And when you go into CloudWatch, you're going to immediately be presented with many different things. Now you'll notice there are alarms by AWS services and you might notice a lot of database related things in this list right here.
