- [Instructor] In this tip for DevSecOps, let's talk about the tactics developers use and how security can adopt them. Before we dive in, though, maybe you are wondering why we would even do this. In the DevOps Foundation course here in the library, one of the key findings of the success of DevOps is that operation teams adopted development practices to be able to deliver software faster and to make huge gains. Ops went from being seen as this blocker to now being a critical key for success. We will see that security can learn from using developer tactics to solve problems and get security testing and tooling done faster, cheaper, and more effectively. We have two main problems with adding security to DevSecOps. First, change is outpacing our ability to test. We deploy every day, 10 times a day, or maybe even 100 times a day.
