Use aliases to efficiently group hosts

- [Instructor] We can create aliases in our firewall in order to group things together and make entries a little bit easier to create inside of rules. So also help us to consolidate our entries. So we don't have to create multiple rules whenever we are entering things about either network ranges or ranges of hosts that we want to control all at once. So under firewall, we will click on aliases, let's talk about how to create this list in the first place. So we have the option of IPs, ports and URLs for our firewall aliases. We're going to click Add under the IP selection, and we're going to name this Apple. We're just going to say you know what, I know that Apple has a IP range that is huge, but it is consistent, so I'm going to just enter the entire thing in here and just reference it as Apple in the future. The description is Apple's network range, and this is going to be a network 17.0.0.0 slash, number eight, there we go. And our description is just going to be Apple right here…
