Troubleshooting Wi-Fi

- [Instructor] Take a moment, and think back to the last time you experienced bad Wi-Fi. The kind of bad Wi-Fi, that makes you want to throw your phone across the room, because nothing works. Or that makes you think, you might just be better off reading a book, instead of trying to watch a streaming TV show, that keeps pausing, or dropping down to a low resolution. But what does it mean when we say a location has good Wi-Fi? Generally, it means that we don't encounter any problems while using it. Problems like slow download speed, messages not going through, difficulty staying connected, and so on. When we think about what makes a quality Wi-Fi experience, we need to consider a few different parts, of which Wi-Fi itself is only one. Let's think about a Wi-Fi connected device, and its connection to the internet in three parts. There's the connection between the device and the access point, that's the Wi-Fi part, but…
