Tiers of the CAT
- [Instructor] We can use SABSA to help inform our cloud strategy using a tool called the Cloud Attribute Taxonomy. The Cloud Attribute Taxonomy isn't a business taxonomy in the normal sense as it doesn't represent business outcomes, it's an approach we can use to adjust our risk viewpoint when developing the physical architecture of the deployment. Here we see the overall structure of the Cloud Attribute Taxonomy, a representation of the SABSA attributes in a three-tier structure with the top tier being the highest priority attributes for cloud, the second tier the next highest and the third tier the least priority. The priority one tier shows the most important attributes from a cloud perspective. These are grouped into four categories, which represent the main business focus when looking at cloud: User acceptance, financial, technical viewpoint and the business impact.
