If you start now, you could be involved in using and shaping a technology that is still very early in its development, before it potentially becomes much larger. It may follow a path similar to the one technologies like Cloud, IOT, or AI itself did just a few years ago. For those of you just starting this journey you may want to look at some of the many books, courses, papers, websites, and other material available on AI. Particularly for industries that are technology heavy and/or have mission critical applications, it would be a good idea to really start thinking about how XAI might improve your business. For those of you ready to make a bigger investment look into hiring consultants or even full time data scientists to explore and develop XAI, POCs, or proofs of concept.
