So, in order to find a list of data breaches Wikipedia has a great resource. So going through Google. From here you can find a list of all the major data breaches that have occurred, and the method that they went through. Now, there are a number of different security websites, a number of different tech websites. Use your own discretion, but just to give a few examples, you can look through Techmeme or you can look through Have I Been Pwned? And they both give updates about security breaches, different tech news, and actually provide some services where you can enter your email address and check if you've been part of these.
