(upbeat music) - [Instructor] Now that you've installed and run an Nmap scan, let's look at the results I get when I run Nmap on my system. Here you can see I have Zenmap installed and running. This is a nice GUI interface for Nmap. You can also run Nmap from a command line, but Zenmap is a little easier to use and it does a good job of presenting the results. I'm going to run a scan of my local system just to show that Nmap is working and to get some quick results. To do that, I'll enter the loop back address of my system as the target. 127.0.0.1. The default profile for the scan is intense scan, which we'll keep. You'll see that there are many different types of scans to choose from.
