Setting a restore point

- [Instructor] Restore points are marvelous for when recovering from subtle changes to Windows, or even unexpected disaster. What they do is to record the system's current configuration, settings, options and other choices. These items can be altered during an update, or perhaps even accidentally. By having a restore point, you can recover the Windows configuration back to the time when things were set up the way you like. Windows sets restore points automatically. For example, whenever it installs an update or when you add new software. You can set your own restore points as well. For example, any time you add or upgrade hardware, set a restore point. Or if you plan on making changes to the system, such as adding another user or changing settings or options, create a restore point. To manually set a restore point, press the Windows and R keyboard shortcut and type into this dialog box, "systempropertiesadvanced", all one word. Press Enter or click Okay, and you see the System…
