- [Instructor] So let's build on what we've already discussed around service governance. So what's important here is that these tools may work with resource governance or they may not work with resource governance, but typically they do. So if you're going to have resource governance tools such as the cloud management platform that we introduced in another video, then ultimately you're going to look at having the ability to manage more fine grain resources which are going to be services, APIs are the way in which we evoke core resources. So we're focused on the low level APIs or services and keep that in mind as we were selecting tools and picking systems. And they're required for most cloud based systems that need to share services, and so ultimately if we have any sort of API we're exposing, then service governance tools are about providing us with the capabilities to in essence govern those systems.
