- [Instructor] So, let's talk about selecting tools. Ultimately what's important here is that tools are needed to run your cloud. So, we do have cloud based services and we can do things like storage, compute, and databases. But, we need the tools and technology, to in essence, operate the cloud effectively. Management, monitoring, governance, security, all those things are basically important to a cloud computing deployment. They may be in clouds. In some instances we're leveraging security as the service, or not. It may be something it runs on-premise. You need to be careful to pick the tool that meets your requirements, you know, they're difficult to change later. Ultimately we're walking down the isle with a particular tool that we're picking. Because as we moorify requirements and change your tools sets, it's going to be a bit more difficult than anticipated to unplug an existing tool and plug a new tool in.
