- [Instructor] So, let's talk about governance and security, which is something that's fairly confusing to people. So, what's important here is that you need to bind governance and security together. They can't run in different spaces. Governance may set guardrails, and basically, not really function as something that's a security layer, however, its ability to work and play well with cloud-based security is going to be a requirement going forward because, obviously, if we're setting guardrails and people are testing those guardrails, it could be a security issue. And the other thing, we need to share security data, such as Active Directories or identity access management, with the governance systems so we're not having to do so in two different places. And so, they need to work and play well together, and in many instances, as we're moving forward with cloud computing, we're going to see this kind of governance, what we're talking about in this particular video, and kind of the…
