Secure your infrastructure with NIST

- [Ron] Everyone is online. Small, medium, and large organizations and even individuals are threatened by malicious actors trying to disrupt businesses and gain access to our most sensitive data. In recent years, billions of records have been lost causing tens of billions of dollars of damage. The good news is there are steps you can take to secure your data, systems, networks, and business. The NIST, or National Institute of Standards and Technology, cybersecurity framework, or CSF, is a methodology for securing an organization's infrastructure. In this course, you'll learn industry standard techniques for protecting your organization, no matter the size. I'll start with a review of cybersecurity fundamentals. Next, we'll look at detailed methods for implementing each step of the NIST cybersecurity framework, identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover. By taking small steps and following a standard practice, you can reduce your security risks and be ready for cyber threats. Hi, I'm Ron Warner and I've spent over 15 years teaching information and security concepts and practices to people worldwide. So join me in my LinkedIn Learning course about the NIST cybersecurity framework.
