- [Instructor] The larger your enterprise is, the more difficult it will be for a single person to manage all of the tasks that must be performed when structuring an IT architecture. So it's not uncommon to have multiple architects. And each will have some particular area of expertise. And then they will all work together under one architect, which is known as the chief architect. So let's talk about the different types of IT architect roles. Now, the first I just mentioned. And that is the chief architect. This person identifies opportunities for improvement in technology and ensures that technology aligns with business requirements. All right, so they kind of oversee everything. Now, in a larger enterprise, a lead architect provides assistance and support to the chief architect.
