An array of interesting terms are used to describe wireless network security. When configuring a wireless network for a home or small office, use the WPA-PSK standard, which may also be referred to as WPA2-PSK. Another Wi-Fi network security option is WPS or Wi-Fi Protected Setup. It involves a button on the router, or PIN or USB flash drive to authenticate a device for access. Above all, do apply security to your wireless network as opposed to leaving it open and unprotected.
