- [Instructor] Just like any other asset class, cryptocurrencies are traded every day. So I'm here at the Coinbase website. Now, certainly, we could sign in if we had an account or get started and create an account to trade but for our purposes here, I'm not actually interested in trading anything. Rather, I simply want us to get a handle on what performance looks like in the cryptocurrency landscape so that we understand the tremendous risk associated with trading this particular products. To do that, I'm going to click on the Prices tab and this'll take me to a list of a variety of different prices for cryptocurrencies here on Coinbase. Now, certainly I could look at which coins have traded on Coinbase in the last 24 hours but I could also look at what's happened over the last year.
