- Think about this. If you share the stage, you share the work, but you get virtually as much visibility as you do when you're alone on stage. I remember once presenting at a big IBM conference with the head of a small consultancy. His focus, as owner, was software sales and consulting, but I had recently done software training and client education for him, and we talked about that. He got more visibility for his company. I got more visibility in the IBM community, possibly with the opportunity to work with other companies, just like his. Would either of us have benefited more if we were alone on the stage?
