- [Instructor] The privacy capabilities we have discussed this far we cost money. Money that you might otherwise prefer to invest in building features and growing your revenue. Yes, privacy is expensive, but lack of privacy can be even more expensive in terms of money, reputation, trust. So here's the staffing model that can help scale your privacy program. Governance would be run by the privacy execution team that would own defining the strategy, get alignment across the company and execute on an ongoing basis. Automation and tooling could be a shared responsibility where capabilities to delete and protect the data could be built by the privacy execution team. But program managers from either the privacy team or from the individual product teams would own the actual adoption of those tools. Reporting, which would support incident response, audits, et cetera, would be jointly owned by the privacy execution team, the GRC…
