- [Instructor] Now that we know what makes a privacy program effective, let's assign roles and responsibilities. One of the reasons that startups often incubate fresh ideas and create growth is that there are minimal turf wars, and the scale is manageable. It's a place for ideas and execution. Privacy programs, on the other hand, are often created once the company has grown, so it is vital to define ownership and ensure that there is accountability. So in the next few slides, we will identify key stakeholders in your program and assign them responsibilities based on domain expertise.
