In this video, I'll describe the two critical success factors for the transition, the people and the tasks they will perform. Begin by getting a copy of your MSSP's standard transition plan. They probably have used it many times, but that doesn't mean it automatically fits your situation like a glove. So study it closely, be assertive about asking questions, and make sure it's a good fit for your situation. Next, make sure the MSSP has assigned their most experienced people, and you need to do the same for your side. During the transition, the MSSP will naturally focus their attention on the technical aspects, but the people dimension may be your biggest risk factor.
