- [Instructor] Now that you've identified your organization's key asset, we can move to step two of the NIST CSF, protect. These are ways you can secure the items you identified in step one. Protection comes in many forms from non-technical human components that can be done by anyone and everyone in your organization, such as security awareness. The other side are technical products or services requiring some expertise, such as network security with firewalls and web filters, malware and virus protection, patching and updating, and encryption.
