Overview of defending business assets

- [Instructor] Now that you've identified your organization's key asset, we can move to step two of the NIST CSF, protect. These are ways you can secure the items you identified in step one. Protection comes in many forms from non-technical human components that can be done by anyone and everyone in your organization, such as security awareness. The other side are technical products or services requiring some expertise, such as network security with firewalls and web filters, malware and virus protection, patching and updating, and encryption. With continually changing risks, you may need to perform research or hire a knowledgeable worker or third party to ensure your business is adequately protected and are meeting the NIST requirements. Let's look at how you can start protecting your business from cyber threats right now.
