- [Instructor] Let's talk about the process of cloud ops or cloud operation. Well, we need to understand the requirements. In other words, what the business expects us to do based on their requirements of IT in terms of how we're going to operationalize and run the systems. Typically it's going to be 24 hours a day. In some cases it may not be. How are we going to store the data? What kind of legal obligations do we have on the information? All that needs to be factored in. So you need to create a cloud ops plan. In other words, what we're going to do and the tools we're going to use to do it with. And then picking the right tool sets. Keep in mind, it's not one single tool that's going to solve this issue. It's typically a half dozen to a dozen tools that you're going to have to put in place to monitor your cloud-based systems.
