- [Instructor] So where do we go from here? What are the next steps? So if you're moving to the cloud, you need this stuff to work, and governance is probably one of the most important things you can do to your cloud-based systems to ensure its consistent operation and accurate operation, and the ability to, in essence, put guardrails around how people leverage it and how machines leverage it and applications leverage it. So the name of the game is automation, to protect our cloud-based systems from ourselves mostly, and this is about putting a layer of automation that doesn't restrict the way in which we leverage the cloud and it provides us with the same kind of operational benefits and optimization benefits we had before but it puts guardrails around the utilization of the cloud to ensure that we don't, in essence, harm the cloud and harm the systems, and therefore get in the way of this productively, this ROI that we're looking for in cloud computing.
