- [Instructor] Now that we are familiar with the main tables in the HCUP project, let's go see how we document them in a data dictionary. Now remember, HCUP is a study dataset. So it is much simpler to document table-wise, than a production database. However, unlike in a production database the amount of documentation you have to keep about every table and field is huge. So, I'm going to demonstrate curating this HCUP project study dataset to help you get into the weeds of curation without having you get caught up in a spidery ERD web of tables from a production database. So, in our HCUP project, we have two main tables which are related to each other, hospital and discharge. And we know there are multiple discharges per hospital. And here's our ERD. There's the hospital table, and there's the discharge table. Those are the main tables that we are now going to focus on, when looking at our data dictionary. You will see…
