- [Instructor] So security integration is about allowing these systems to exchange information one to another. This is about integrating typically very independent security systems together so that they're aware of each other which obviously makes them a better security system. So we're moving from things that are typically going to be automated to something that is at another level of automation. So information that is accessible from one security system is going to be known to all. And ultimately, that's going to provide you with a good jumping out point for creating a superior security system. So when we talk about security integration, we're dealing typically with directories and directories could be LDAP directories, Active Directories, other things in essence allow you to track identities of people, machines, applications, data points.
