In chapter seven, I covered some of the core concepts of information management that you might find on the CCSP exam. Let's recap those. (air whooshing) Data classifications allow us to assign labels to information based upon their sensitivity and/or their criticality. (air whooshing) The U.S. Government uses a classification scheme with four levels. The highest level of the scheme is top secret, followed by secret, confidential, and unclassified. Private businesses use their own classification schemes and commonly use terms like highly sensitive, sensitive, internal, and public.
