- [Instructor] Let's talk about service governance in the context of cloud complexity management, in context of the service domain. So ultimately this about putting gaining factors around the utilization of services if we allow people to invoke services in any way they see fit, they can saturate the services, they may even be able to breach the system, so we have to control them. Now keep in mind that governance is linked at the hip with security and compliance, that obviously we have to enforce compliance rules using security systems, as well as governance systems, and that governance is typically the first line of defense in terms of security because it's putting gates around the way we can use particular things in this case services.
