- [Instructor] There have been conferences about new initiatives in AI appearing all over the last few decades, but it's only been recently that they've grown to massive proportions and more and more popularity. NIPS, or how it's been renamed NeurIPS, the Neural Information Processing Systems conference, ICML, the International Conference on Machine Learning, ICLR, the International Conference on Learning Representations, and AAAI, Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence. These are only a few of the large conferences that used to only attract a number of small dedicated researchers, but have now grown to have thousands of attendees. But there are also still a number of smaller commercial groups that pull specific experts together and also include a number of the tech giants.
