- [Instructor] There is so much exciting stuff to tell you about command-line administration inside of pfSense. I want to get started right away with the diagnostics menu right over here. We're going to go to diagnostics and then come down to command prompt, and I'll use this as an opportunity to talk about what this is. So execute shell command basically says if you know the command structure that you want to issue that you would issue if you were in a terminal window, and I'll show you what a terminal window looks like.
