- [Instructor] So how do we operate a edge computing system long term? Well, we have to think about operations planning and how we're going to do operating and monitoring of the system. So keep in mind we're dealing with many different components here, the edge device, we may be dealing with an on-premise system, such as a mainframe. We may be dealing with other systems such as a LAMP stack, which is Linux, Apache, MySQL, and Python, which may be existing on another on-premise system. And then of course the cloud, in this case, we're using AWS as an example. So operation and monitoring should be overlaying pretty much everything that exists within the compute environment. So while we would love to deal with edge computing as its own platform unto itself and therefore its own operation and monitoring technology, edge computing systems interact with all systems that exist within the enterprise and exist in the cloud,…
