- [Instructor] Here we are at the AWS Management Console and let's look at the edge computing services that are in this public cloud service. So we'll go ahead and type in Edge and see what pops up. Now, the first thing you'll see is the AWS Snow Family and they have things like snowball and snowmobile and they deal with external backups things that sit outside of their public cloud. And here are probably the most interesting for edge computing would be Snowcone. Now keep in mind that snowcone actually is a device. So it allows you to in essence take a device that AWS sells and set it outside of your data center or sit it outside of your public clouds. In other words, it's a true data collection edge device that's sold by AWS that obviously they able to sync with and bring information into their public cloud.
