Database size issues

- AWS can support automatic scaling, which means you can increase your resources as you need them. But many people do not deploy databases with automatic scaling capabilities because that's not what we're used to. We've not done that in our internal database systems, that is to say, when we build a Microsoft SQL Server, a MySQL database, an Oracle database, whatever in our server, it has hard drives in it, right? Or it connects to a storage area network. Or it connects to network attached storage. And all of those storage locations have a fixed limit that is hardware-based, and so they can't go beyond that limit. AWS has this amazing magical capability to just keep getting bigger.
