- [Instructor] Let's talk about the notion of data hygiene as related to cloud complexity management. Data hygiene is really approaches, processes, and tools that deal with how clean the data is. Just like your hygiene. Ultimately, it's about making sure the data is in a dependable state for the information abstracted from the databases is going to be useful to users to the applications that leverage the data. Ultimately, this is about removing as many errors as possible from the data. It is not necessarily going to be about removing every error within the database, but it's getting really close. Then, it's also about finding why the data is dirty, why information is erroneous in the database, and making sure we're correcting those issues.
