Curating database front-end
- [Instructor] Now that you know what techniques we are going to use, we can move on to practicing curating a database Front-end. I came up with a simple example project so you can better understand what I am teaching. I'm a researcher and maybe you are too. Researchers must publish in peer-reviewed medical journals in order for us to do well in our careers. So, as you can imagine, we are always writing manuscripts and turning them in to journals so they will get peer-reviewed. Nowadays that is all done through an online journal submission portal, they work a little like online college course management systems. You know, like Blackboard or Moodle but each one is customized for the journal so they are kind of like custom databases with their own Front-ends.
