- [Instructor] Considering time when counting conversions is important. It is also important when visualizing them in graphs. When I say visualization, I mean data visualization, which is the act of using data to make charts, diagrams, graphs or any other visuals you can think of for the purpose of helping you interpret the data. Data visualization is very important when you are trying to change a metric that occurs over time like conversions. The visualizations that we will cover in this course will help you interpret changes in your conversions over time periods. Let's think about those potential conversions I could have. Selling more books, speaking more often at conferences and raising my profile in the data science community. Let's think of the natural time periods associated with these items.
