to Cert Prep: 4 Storage and Peripherals. the CompTIA A+ Core 1 220-1001 exam. on really more than anything else mass storage. So we're going to be talking about everything from optical media, to thumb drives, but really more than anything else it's going to be hard drives and SSDs. So we're going to be plugging these things in, making sure you understand how they work. We're going to be configuring 'em. We're going to be partitioning and formatting and just havin' a great time as we come up with different ways for you to be be able to store your operating systems and all of your data files as well. We're going to follow up with this with what I call Essential Peripherals. This is primarily USB, but we'll even cover things like for example keyboards and mice, different types of sound devices, web cameras. Just about anything that you're going to use to plug into your system unit. If you're using my book you can follow along in chapters eight, nine, and 10.
