- [Instructor] The emergence of cloud and infrastructure as a service has dramatically changed the way we think about application resiliency. Rapid deployment of new resources can be done quickly as conditions change and workloads shift. Launching secondary and tertiary environments for disaster recovery is easy. Resiliency can be provided using active-active cloud architectures, with database replication systems, and load balancing compute resources. Customers of cloud services, expect a very high level of availability. And this requires that the services are designed with resilience in mind.
