- [Instructor] The major cloud providers typically offer a range of security services. The Azure security services are shown here. Azure Security Center provides security management with policy compliance, security scanning, workload protection, and platform threat protection. It not only protects cloud deployments, but can be used to also protect on-premise systems. It provides the ability to run continuous vulnerability and misconfiguration scans, as well as identifying new assets automatically. Compliance checking against regulatory standards such as the PCI data security standard and against ISO 27,001 can be managed from the security center. The security center also provides advanced threat detection. This include file integrity monitoring and just in time virtual machine access which ensures that machine management ports are locked down until a user with a role that permits system management needs to access them.
