- [Instructor] In previous section, we compared the differences between device level and controller level automation. We also talked about the different automation tools, such as Ansible. In this section, we'll go through some examples of the workflow to illustrate the type of operations these tools can automate. Let's start with a controller based network. So Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure, as we see on the page, ACI, is Cisco's software defined networking solution focused in data center operations. We will use ACI as an example to illustrate the type of infrastructure automation we can accomplish with the API. All the links we'll go over in this lesson could be found in the example folder accompanied with this section. In the ACI environment, the devices are managed by a cluster of APIC controllers.
