Choose good passwords
- [Narrator] In this episode, I want to take a few minutes to talk about strong passwords. There are three things we need to be aware of when using passwords. A password can be forgotten but we've already taken care of that by using a password manager. A password can also be leaked and there's less that we can do about this. We can be careful about where we enter a password, but most password leaks happen when an organization's account system is compromised, and that's not something we can control. This is why we use a different password for different services and if we use a weak password it can be guessed by a person or computer. On all the sites we use across the web, it's important to use passwords that are resistant to guessing. It can be temping to make passwords that are easy to remember or that are short or some combination of those things.
