- [Instructor] As a parent, I can't tell you how many times I've asked my kids what they're doing on the web, and realize that I wish I had blocked access to one or another website before they had found it. Now, from a parenting perspective, you'd be surprised how resourceful your local school might be with lists of sites to monitor or block for your kids at home, how would you even do that? For that matter, what if you want to block access to distracting or not safe for work websites in your workplace? There's certainly no shortage of material to work with here, so rather than give you a list of places to avoid, I'm just going to use some of our internal assets on the web as examples, and I'll show you how to block access to a list of websites not as a academic thing, but as a practical case study.
