- [Instructor] So let's look at the nature of cloud storage and how it relates to disaster recovery systems in the cloud. So as we talked about in the last video, we have the ability to organize information in three primary storage techniques, but certainly it's not limited to this, including block storage, you know, such as AWS EBS, Elastic Block Storage, object storage such as S3, an Amazon Web Services product, as well as data stored in objects that can be written and updated ultimately in its entirety as a function of the system, and then file systems, which we're familiar with because we have them on our computers now and our ability to in essence organize files in some sort of a hierarchy where we can organize the information or the data as well. So object storage, you know, such as S3, you know, Azure Blob Storage, ultimately these things are meant for storing large amounts of information, typically unstructured data.…
