- [Instructor] So in looking to understand more about business continuity and disaster recovery in the cloud, let's look at a use case. So, we have this current business situation. The systems and the data that's bound to the systems have been in a public cloud for a two-year period of time. They migrated a couple of years ago, basically for the benefits of cloud computing, including reduced costs and greater agility. These applications are considered business critical, and as well as the data that those applications access. If for some reason there's an outage, it's going to cost the business $20,000 an hour in lost revenue. And this does not include the public relationship issue around customers not being able to get into their systems. And the data currently stored is in a single cloud and in a single region.
