Analytic data flow diagrams
- [Instructor] Next we are going to talk about making analytic data flow diagrams. So, let's say you are analyzing some data for a study you are doing. It could be a research project analyzing data from a health survey, or it could be a research project analyzing data from a marketing campaign. It doesn't really matter the kind of study, there are two extremes on the continuum. The first extreme is the easy extreme. I say easy peasy lemon squeezy. That's when you only have one table of data. This is typical for a survey. There's a big table filled with survey answers, one row per response. Or let's say you have a very simple production database, maybe a main table of customers with a few pick lists hanging off of it, like country the customer is in.
