- [Instructor] Business processes involve people in technology and that technology can be deployed in the form of cloud-based infrastructure, platforms and applications. When we talk of architecting cloud security, we're really saying, let's look at how we provide the physical layer security mechanisms to protect our cloud-based technology solutions. As an enterprise security architect, we're tasked with ensuring security mechanisms are available in the form of middleware security services for use in any business application. The solutions architect will determine the security mechanisms required for his or her target business application. And these may be internal mechanisms developed as part of the application or they may be mechanisms accessed via APIs from one of the middleware security services.
